I'm 17, I'll be 18 in July. I work at a cute little restaurant as a waitress. I just started working there and have already found ways to witness through my actions. Not join in on the dirty jokes, respond with a gentle response to defuse anger (Proverbs 15:1) instead of yelling back [ like when it gets really hectic in the kitchen], and to not cheat on my hours or tips; work as if I'm working for God.
when I return from the DR I'll be enrolling at the University of Michigan and studying spanish and who knows what else. but, I'm planning on a double major, and also learning arabic.
I want God to change my view of people. I don't want to see everybody else as "extras" in my life story, but I want to be "co-stars" with everybody in God's story.
I'm looking forward to working with the teens in the DR, as well as meeting up with everybody that I met this summer. (chelsea! we have to see how Berta's knee is doing)
I like ethnic food, Harry Potter, and Ferrero Rocher chocolates :)
I run...every now and then...and we'll just have to see if I can fit spring Track into my schedule
