Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

            First off I thank each and every one of you for your donations and prayers. Our God is an awesome God who chooses to use His people in His ministry. Thank you for responding to the call.

            I was called by God to spend the first semester of the First Year Missionary program in the Dominican Republic with Adventures In Missions. While I've never had the passion to minister overseas I felt a strong call to join this program. I now realize that I was brought here to be a part of a small and intimate team. I've never been amazing at making girl friends, but because of this mission trip I came to know the two girls here with me well and I thank God for giving me my two best friends.

            However because I don't have the passion to minister here, I am keeping the team from accomplishing more. I really tried last semester and saw God move in great ways. I gave the ministry everything I had and still ended up just ministering out of obligation and not love.

            Therefore since I feel I have accomplished what I feel God called me to, getting to know the two girls well and learning valuable life lessons, I find it necessary to continue following where God has called me and to return home. There I will start and continue my ministry. Unfortunately your money is non-refundable, but rest assured that it will not be wasted. It will continue to go to the team and the ministry here.

            Again thank you for the prayers and support. God is capable of all things and I am proud to call Him my own.
